Moreover, in this article, the perspective of only 41 adult Canadian users of cannabis is considered (Osborne et al., 2016). Among these adults, white-collar professionals and graduate students are also presents, who favor the consumption of the cannabis. It is also found from the case study, that when legislation bill for decriminalized of the cannabis consumption was proposed in Canada, the bill was not prorogued and ultimately the consumption of cannabis has become legalized. However, the decriminalized of the cannabis results in 52% rise in drug offences in which 12.2% of Canadians are of age 15 or older (Osborne et al., 2016). Thus, the bill was reformed and according to the Government framework for legalization and reg ulation of cannabis in Canada, they have set the legal age forpurchase at 18, others at 19 (Healthycanadians.gc.ca 2017). Another consequence that is highlighted in the given article is that whether the use of Cannabis will be increase after legalization. The Canadian Cannabis Coalition reforms the legislation for the use of cannabis for medical purposes and seed, grain and fiber production only (Osborne et al., 2016). Adults, who are from 21 to 61 years of age and are respondents for the research also portrays that the prohibition of cannabis is unjust and legalization of the consumption will help in reducing the unlawful drug trading that further results in less cost for criminal justice system. It also helps in reducing the stigma associated with cannabis use in the society. It is also found that maximum adults, who are a single middle-class community, prefer the legalization of cannabis consumption; however, middle aged people like mothers and legal secretary are against of the opposition to decriminalization and legalization strategies for cannabis. Moreover, from the undertaken research, it has be en found that 27 years old and other candidates also admits that the complete decriminalization should not be imposed and they should be allowed to grow and use the plants until a person gets affected by this activity (Osborne et al., 2016). In context with the age, professionals or educated people are aware of the consequences of the consequences of things like cannabis, drugs or alcohol. These educated people are also knowledgeable about the reason behind the governing legislation; however, people of same age but working in lower designations like construction site employees, retail and service industry people and white-collar clerical workers consider the present legislation to be restrictive (Osborne et al., 2016). The government of Canada also imposes pricing legislation on these product high prices on these products and extra tax payment. Most of the respondents of above 30 years of age, who use cannabis more than 10 years, are not affected by the imposture of the legislation and decriminalization as they believe a thing which is easy to grow by anyone can also be easily be consumed by anyone (Osborne et al., 2016). However, same aged people with family responsibilities consider the consequences of the harmful impa ct of consuming cannabis and thus have the control over their lifestyles.
